In recent years, it has become a good tradition to hold sports competitions among the employees of the group of companies in various sports. They attract employees to active sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, rally many thousands of employees of the company and develop corporate culture.
On October 21-22, a traditional mini-football tournament was held in Karshi among employees of the transport services of the ERIELL Group of Companies, Enter Engineering and Enter Machineries Service. 7 national teams from Tashkent, Karshi, Bukhara, Samarkand, Kungrad, Fergana and Tashkent region competed for the victory in the tournament.
On the first day, after the opening ceremony of the tournament and the draw, the teams played the first round games: Tashkent - Samarkand 9:2, Bukhara - Tashkent region 7:5, Karshi - Fergana 5:2. In the semi-finals, the Tashkent team beat the representatives of Kungrad with a score of 3:1, and the Bukhara football players lost to the team from Karshi 1:5. Thus, the Tashkent and Karshi teams reached the final
The final match, which aroused great interest among the fans, was a stubborn struggle: the teams created a great number of dangerous moments, showing spectacular uncompromising football. At the final whistle of the referee of the meeting, the score was 1:1 and the winner was to be revealed in a penalty shootout. The shots of the Tashkent football players were more accurate and they were the winners of the tournament, respectively, the Karshi players became the vice-champions. Teams from Bukhara and Kungrad competed for the bronze medal. The Bukhara team won this match, defeating their rivals with a score of 10:2.
The tournament ended, the winners and prize-winners were determined, but most importantly, all the participants showed not only their sports capabilities, but also the desire to be the best, active and united. We, in turn, wish them good luck in sports, activities and life!
