The Sakhovat care home for the disabled and the elderly, located in Samarkand, has more than half a century of history. And of course, the institution has witnessed several hundreds, if not thousands, of people's fates since its inception. Today there are 138 disabled and elderly people living here, most of whom are war participants and veterans. The 9th of May, the Day of Remembrance and Honour, is a special holiday and a significant date for all war participants and veterans. On the eve of the holiday, at the benevolent initiative of Enter Engineering Group of companies, the residents of the care home Sakhovat received a worthy gift - another comfortable and modern gazebo was installed in the institution's well-developed promenade pavilion.
The director of the institution, Surayo Javatova, emphasized the timeliness of this event for the residents of the care home due to certain restrictions related to the quarantine.
- Our care home is constantly under the attention and patronage of authorized governmental and non-governmental organizations and philanthropists", says Surayo Nasrullayevna in a conversation with us. - Recently, a 50-bed residential complex has been built here with all the amenities and a laundry furnished with modern household equipment. With today's ongoing quarantine conditions, outdoor walks and outdoor real-life communication are very useful for improving the emotional and physical well-being of our residents, most of whom have health problems occurring due to age-related changes and disabilities. We have a large green, fragrant promenade pavilion with a gazebo designed for such walks. Now, at the benevolent initiative of Enter Engineering Group of companies, our promenade pavilion has been given an even more well-furnished look, and additional comfortable and modern gazebo has been arranged.
While the construction work was underway, I noticed that our residents were watching the whole process on the pavilion impatiently and with great interest. They were delighted with such a gift because the pavilion has long been a favorite place for them. Soon we will have games of checkers and chess in our gazebos, cheerful songs and live music during the holidays. There are many people with creativity among the residents of our Sahovat care home, who play the accordion and guitar, sing beautifully, and many of them are fond of playing checkers and chess. We are grateful to the company for their attention and care.
