Enter Engineering conjointly with ERIELL held a charity event for the members of the disabled mutual social aid society "Mehribonlik" of Yakkasaray district of the capital city.
More than 20 years ago, the UN General Assembly established the 3rd of December as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This day has become yet another reason to lend a helping hand to people with disabilities, as well as a way to raise public awareness about disability and highlight the benefits of an inclusive society accessible to all.
Enter Engineering and ERIELL have throughout their activity continue to remain focused on the appeals for help, and always readily respond to them. The beneficiaries of the society "Mekhribonlik" have long been supported gratuitously by the companies.
The Society members have poor health and therefore fewer economic opportunities compared to people without disabilities. This is often due to a lack of accessible services, due to which they have to face many obstacles on a daily basis.
There are 79 people with various degrees of disability in the mutual social aid society of Yakkasaray district. There are those who have been bedridden for many years, not being able to have even partial contact with the outside world. There are veterans of labor, people who suffered while dealing with the effects of the Chernobyl disaster, as well as children with congenital disabilities and low-income families among its members.
Representatives of Enter Engineering and ERIELL met the members of the Mekhribonlik society of Yakkasaray district at the HUMO Arena ice complex and handed over food parcels, bed linen, towels and basic necessities to them. Employees of the Companies talked to the guests and thanked them for their visit.
Zulfiya Yakubova, head of the Yakkasaray branch of the disabled mutual social aid society "Mehribonlik", delivered an acceptance speech on behalf of all members of the organization:
"First and foremost, I would like to express my immense gratitude to Enter Engineering and ERIELL, their managers and employees for the compassion, help and attention extended to the members of our Society. Since its establishment in 1992, our organization has been involved in providing comprehensive assistance to people with disabilities. This includes legal protection of their interests, moral and material support, timely and quality medical care, and employment. In a word, we integrate people with disabilities into society. Today's charity event is a significant assistance, both on a moral and material level. Such events evoke in our hearts not only feelings of gratitude towards the organizers, but also confidence in the future. Thanks to such companies as ERIELL and Enter Engineering, which are actively involved in charitable work, we are convinced that we are not alone, and that we are needed by society and our compatriots.
"I would like to tell you a huge thanks on behalf of all members of the society for your help. Many people with disabilities are deprived of the basic amenities that are available to most people. So today is a real celebration for us. At times like this, we believe that we are not alone and can always rely on ERIELL and Enter Engineering," said Svetlana Said zadeh Saadi, one of the members of the society.
That same day, the Enter Engineering and ERIELL staff visited members of the Society who were bedridden due to disability. Gifts have also been given to them.
Good deeds are easy. By extending a helping hand to those in need, we show that a person is not alone in their distress. Each of us can bring his/her contribution thereto thus making the lives of those around us a little happier.
