In 2021, the construction was completed and new Fuel filling complex TZK-1 (Rus. translit.) was put into operation to service aircrafts at the Tashkent International Airport. The project customer is SANOAT ENERGETIKA GURUHI LLC, the general contractor is Enter Engineering.
The main purpose of TZK-1 is uninterrupted supply of jet fuel to aircrafts of both the national air carrier and other foreign airlines. Refueling of international aircrafts is already in full swing.
The total area of the complex is 6.56 hectares. The production zone consists of a number of buildings and structures. Including:
- Vertical Steel Tank farm RVS-5000 (stand-by, 2 pcs.), RVS-2000 (service, 4 pcs);
- jet fuel pumping and filtration area with 8 pumps;
- ED drainage tanks, capacity 8 m3, 25 m3 and 40 m3;
- railway loading/unloading rack with top and bottom unloading units;
- Support area is also provided. In particular, it includes:
- administration and amenity building;
- machinery repair shop;
- fire-fighting pump station;
- fire-water tanks of reinforced concrete version (V-1000m³, 2 pcs.) with piping;
- industrial waste water and rainwater-runoff treatment facilities;
- packaged transformer substation;
- emergency diesel power station;
- fire station and etc.
In addition, to ensure the uninterrupted supply of fossil fuel for the economy needs, Enter Engineering has also almost completed (at the finish line) a terminal for storage and distribution of petroleum products (TZK-2) in TZK-1 area. Its area will be 4.88 hectares.
Currently, utility testing, landscaping, as well as corrosion protection (CP) of steel structures and RVS vertical steel tanks are underway. The project involves 286 people and 49 pieces of equipment. From the beginning of construction till April, EPC current progress has already made 79%. It means that all survey and design work has been completed by 97%; selection, purchase of materials and equipment for implementation of the planned work is 65%; all construction and assembly activities have been completed by 75%.
Operations at all TZK-2 sub-facilities are ongoing as per the fixed schedule.
