Just ten kilometers from the village of Jumashui, the administrative center of the Mingbulak district of Namangan region, on the left bank of the Syrdarya River, there are commercial wells of the Mingbulak deposit. More recently, a new modern industrial facility began operating here — an oil treatment plant, the torch of which shot up into the sky to a 50-meter height.
- Enter Engineering Company started the project for the construction of an oil treatment plant at the Mingbulak field in Namangan region in March 2021, — said the representative of the UNG-1 Project Directorate, project manager Jamshid Kalandarov. — At the beginning of August this year, a torch was lit at the facility, symbolizing the wealth of the bowels of our Motherland and the successful implementation of another project that has become another reliable link in the powerful chain of industry in Uzbekistan. The whole team today feels the deepest satisfaction from the work done and its results. We are confident that in the near future the operation of the field will give a significant economic effect.
The project was developed in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further increase oil production from fields with hard-to-recover reserves and the volume of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials" dated 15.12.2019. The customer was LLC "Sanoat Energetika Guruhi", and the design was handled by GRDS. The general plan of the construction site was developed on the basis of relevant regulatory documents.
As at all other construction sites of the company, the necessary conditions were created here for the successful implementation and timely delivery of the object. The work was carried out in a shift mode, experienced, qualified specialists were involved in the construction. A well-equipped residential town with a dining room and sleeping buildings provided a full-fledged life and rest for workers. And there were a lot of them — at the peak of construction work, more than 200 people worked at the facility, and technical support of the process was provided with the help of 35 pieces of equipment.
Within the framework of the project, a main production area was built, including a block of inlet threads, separate separation sites, a sump and an oil heater, pumping stations for oil and reservoir water, a condensate collector, tanks for commercial oil, reservoir and fresh water (each with a volume of 50 m3), a drainage tank, an auto-filling station, a flare farm and a reduction unit gas. Also, an auxiliary zone has been erected, where there is a drainage tank for industrial storm drains, an electric switchboard, a diesel power plant with a fuel tank, a room for operators equipped with a control and management system of the UPN (automated control system), evaporation ponds and a laboratory equipped with modern equipment.
— At the moment, the oil treatment unit of oil wells at the Mingbulak field has reached production capacity, — says Burhanidin Kadirov, a leading technologist for the preparation and transportation of oil. — After extraction from the subsurface, the oil-containing liquid enters the preparation unit with the measurement of the water part and pressure, then passes through the separator, where the associated gas is separated, which will be used as fuel for track heaters. After that, the oil passes through the furnace to the settling tanks, where it is brought to marketable condition according to the approved standard. The whole process is controlled by experienced operators, and laboratory specialists carry out the necessary analyses of raw materials and wells.
The implementation of this project contributed to the achievement of another goal in the development of the economy and socio-economic development of Uzbekistan. The development of the Mingbulak oil field will significantly increase the industrial potential of the region. The close-knit team of Enter Engineering has made its worthy contribution, successfully coping with the task.
