Construction of the RC is in progress

Putting into operation the new terminal of Samarkand International Airport has significantly expanded its capacity and the number of flights has also increased.

 Accordingly, the demand for aviation fuel has also increased, as well as the optimization of aircraft refueling processes. These factors have necessitated the construction of a new refueling complex, the capacity of which will enable us to effectively handle the increased amount of tasks.

The new Refueling Complex which was ordered by Marakand Logair Ltd. and general contractor Enter Engineering Group of Companies is intended to provide uninterrupted refueling of aircrafts of both national aviation carrier and foreign airlines, as well as reception, filtration and storage of aviation fuel.

The project involves the construction of 2 RBC tanks with a total volume of 4000 m3 for aviation kerosene storage, a railway branch line and a trestle for 6 railway tanks with aviation kerosene discharge unit, a pumping filtration station with Jet A-1 pumping and loading units (2 pcs.). ), fuel filters (3 - pumping systems and 2 - loading systems), production building including operator's room and laboratory, jet fuel loading station with two loading arms (1 worker, 1 standby) and operator's room, pipelines, drainage tanks, fire-fighting and other technical equipment.

Currently works are carried out on the area of more than 2 hectares to install technological and engineering networks, as well as corrosion protection of steel structures and vertical steel CP tanks. 169 persons and 30 units of equipment are involved in the works on the project. Since the beginning of the construction and up to January the current EPC progress is 62%. All surveying and design works are 99% complete; material and equipment selection, procurement are 53%, as well as construction and assembly works are 52% complete.
