EE CUP-2022 brings the team together!

Active life in Enter Engineering Group of Companies continues in winter time. From 16 to 18 December 2022, the annual mini-football tournament "EE CUP-2022" was held in the capital's sports complex "Mezhvuzovsky". Twenty-four teams representing projects, departments and divisions from Karshi, Bukhara, Samarkand, Jizzakh and Tashkent took part in the tournament.

The tournament was preceded by a draw, based on the draw results the teams were divided into 8 groups (3 teams in each group). The group stage matches determined the teams that continued the fight in the playoffs, among them were "UzGTL", "GTL Stars", "Steel Wolves", representing the UzGTL project from Karshi, respectively, " СХК " (Samarkand) and "AGMK" (Almalyk) and "TK", "Enternacionale" and "HUMO" from Tashkent.

It bears noting that the knockouts, which were judged by referees of the Uzbekistan Football Association, were held in a fierce uncompromising struggle, not inferior in intensity to the matches of the World Cup. As a result, "TK" and "Enternacionale" teams were stronger and luckier than their opponents, and reached the final.

The final match of the tournament was very spectacular. The opponents were not going to lose, and, as a result, after the whistle of the referee, announcing the end of the normal time, the score was 0:0. According to the rules, in case of a draw, the winners should be determined in penalty kicks. In that football lottery luck was on the side of "Enternacionale" players, who celebrated the victory. The second place was taken by "TK" team, and the third one went to "HUMO".

At the end of the tournament, winners and prize-winners were awarded with commemorative gifts, medals and the Champions Cup from the Trade Union Committee of Enter Engineering. The individual awards were given to Asliddin Kakhkhorov (TK) - the best goalkeeper of the tournament, Yorkin Eshonkulov  (UzGTL) – top goalscorer. Another player of the "TK" team Shokirjon Khodiev was regarded as the best player of the tournament.
