Charity Marathon BUKHARA NIGHT RACE
The BUKHARA NIGHT RACE charity international marathon was held in Bukhara. The night marathon race began after sunset and its route laid along the key sights of the old city - past the Kalyan minaret, mosques, madrassas, caravanserais and famous domes. And the race started at the ancient fortress of Ark. Pleasant warm night breeze and beautiful lighting of the track in Bukhara created a special atmosphere.
Marathon runners participated in the following distances: 5 and 10 km, Nordic (Scandinavian) walking, children's race for children from 4 years old. It is worth mentioning that on this day thousands of participants from all over the world united for charitable purposes. The festival of culture and sports became a memorable event for both the participants and those who came to support the runners.
“I regularly participate in similar races,” shared his impressions Zaur Meldeev, Planning Engineer from Mechanical Engineering Department, involved in the MOF-3 Construction of Almalyk MMC. “Five people from our project participated in this event. We carried the company’s flag along the route. Like all other participants, we received positive energy from the event. Each new race discovers more new emotions, you meet different people, and that is great!”
The BUKHARA NIGHT RACE marathon is not only about the excitement before the start and the feeling of being involved in a massive sports event. There are thousands of runners, fans supporting athletes along the route, fun music, entertainment program and amazing atmosphere that combines overcoming, amusement and immense happiness.
Without exaggeration we may say that these races are now the events that unite strong-willed people - everyone who dares to go to the start line. After all, to become a participant, you don’t have to run at a high pace. The atmosphere, emotions and competition are available for everyone.
