Results of the fire safety month

It is known that in winter, due to the increased use of heating appliances, the risks of fire increase. Therefore, fire safety events are held annually at the beginning of the winter season on all projects of the Enter Engineering Group of Companies.

This year, in accordance with the instructions of the Government Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the order was issued for the company "On holding the fire safety month". As part of the implementation of its provisions, the plan and schedule of events were developed and the persons responsible for their organization were appointed as well.

Within the framework of the month, the specialists of the DNSF, TSF and OH&S divisions carried out a lot of campaigning work, in particular, more than 100 thematic stands and posters were installed. Inspections were also organized at 125 TSF facilities, DNSF warehouses and construction sites in order to identify the risks of possible fires, and preventive inspection of all fire shields and primary fire extinguishing equipment was carried out.

— Comprehensive measures are carried out daily at all the company's facilities to ensure that personnel comply with fire safety measures, —Nurullo Shirinov, Deputy Head of the HSE Department said – the head of the emergency drills. — These include maintaining fire extinguishing equipment in proper condition, monitoring compliance with established rules on the ground, the serviceable condition of electrical appliances and compliance with the norms of storage of combustible materials. Regular training of fire brigades is carried out, and special equipment, including 12 fire engine pumps, are in the state of technical readiness.

Within the framework of the month, 25 training sessions on evacuation of personnel and extinguishing possible fires were conducted at facilities in the Bukhara and Samarkand regions, as well as at the CPP-3 and BGPP projects with the assistance of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Together with the Trade Union Committee, the companies organized training seminars with the involvement of responsible Fire Safety Department employees, during which the best employees were rewarded with valuable gifts.

According to the results of the fire safety month, measures were also taken to eliminate the identified violations, and the missing funds were purchased to ensure fire safety.
