SITU: great potential and broad prospects
The Enter Engineering Group of Companies expresses deep interest in the inflow of young domestic personnel with modern knowledge and skills capable of participating in the implementation of major projects. In this regard, a lot of versatile work is being carried out with domestic universities — interaction with the teaching staff is organized, students undergo internships and practical training, joint development of relevant curricula.
The most striking example in this direction is the activity of the Samarkand International University of Technology (SITU). This is a young but rapidly developing university, the purpose of which is to train highly qualified specialists for the industrial and oil and gas industries of the national economy of Uzbekistan. In a short period of time, a high-quality educational process has been organized here, the authoritative teaching staff has been formed, active cooperation is underway with leading foreign universities, as well as with companies acting as potential employers of future graduates.
There are also significant results of the work being done. The significant indicator was the second place of SITU in the National database of scientific research of universities of Uzbekistan according to Scienceweb. Nominations in this honorary ranking are determined by selection criteria, including the overall average h-index of scientists working at universities and the number of links to their publications in international journals indexed in international databases such as Scopus, Webof Science and Google Scholar. This indicates the high scientific potential of the university, which meets the highest international standards.
In order to develop and implement promising tasks, the Group of Companies (GC) provides all possible support to the educational institution. In particular, today 37 students – the children of employees (33 in the first year and 4 in the second) study at SITU on the basis of educational grants, and the GC took over their payment. In addition, Enter Engineering builds a new university campus in Samarkand.
I would like to express confidence that such cooperation will only deepen in the future, and its fruits will be a new generation of young, motivated specialists.
