Training session was held
On 9-10 February in the conference hall of non-state educational establishment ERIELL prof education there was held a training course dedicated to the study of FIDIC contract terms and peculiarities of their application.
The training organized by Enter Machineries Service (EMS) in cooperation with the Association of Consulting Engineers of Uzbekistan and Enter Engineering was attended by 30 employees of the Group of Companies. The main topics of the event were "FIDIC Contracts Introductory course" and "FIDIC claims and disputes course".)
The main speaker of the training was Firuza Bobokulova, a specialist in international law and arbitration and FIDIC contracts. She is also an arbitrator and legal advisor to the parties in arbitration and Dispute Board proceedings under FIDIC contracts, and a member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). In her presentation, she gave a comprehensive overview of all types of FIDIC contractual clauses and their areas of application. She also familiarized the audience with the differences in the terms of these contracts.
Olga Tsoy, Head of Legal Department of the Republican Design Institute "UzEngineering" under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Umid Yusufaliev, Claim/Quality Management, member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Uzbekistan (UZACE/ACEU is full member of FIDIC) also addressed the audience. In their presentations they also touched upon various aspects of studying FIDIC contractual clauses, their application in modern conditions and their importance for project implementation in construction. Interesting, informative presentations by the speakers, conducted in an interactive manner, contributed to the creation of an educational and informative atmosphere and substantive discussion.
Enter Engineering activity is directly connected with foreign partners, the number of which is growing every year. The success of this interaction depends on a well-thought-out strategy, affecting all areas of cooperation. Each partner has its own characteristic features in communication, which requires knowledge of both international protocol and particularities of etiquette. From this point of view, the training was certainly of significant benefit and allowed all participants to develop their professional competences and raise them to the international level.
