Cup winners have been determined

Sport is always honored by Enter Engineering employees. It promotes health, helps to keep fit, and unites people.

The traditional mini-football tournaments organized by the trade union committee of Enter Engineering are especially popular among Enter Engineering employees. And every year the number of teams willing to participate in the drawing of the coveted prize is increasing.

— The high interest in the tournament was confirmed this year," said Zavkiddin Saidov, deputy chairman of the trade union committee. - Thirty-five teams applied for participation in the Cup. This is a record number and the organizers had to revise the rules of the competition so that all participants could perform and show their best game. Therefore, at the preliminary stage, the teams were divided by geographical principle and the games were held in Samarkand, Bukhara, Surkhandarya and Tashkent regions.

To find the strongest, 10 teams with the best results in their subgroups came to the capital for the final stage of the tournament, which took place on 2 and 3 March in the sports hall of Central Asian University. It should be noted the high intensity of the sport battle that accompanied each match. The teams fought uncompromisingly for victory and delighted the fans with interesting games. As a result, in the two semi-final matches, where the finalists were determined, the Enternacionale players defeated their rivals from the СХК team with the score 5:3, and the TK team confidently dealt with DZIP AGMK with the score 8:2.

In the decisive match Enternacionale and TK met in the capital and showed a beautiful game, which was a hard-fought game, where none of the opponents wanted to concede. By the final whistle on the scoreboard burned figures 2:2 and the winner of the tournament came out in a series of penalty shootouts. More accurate here were the players of the Enternacionale team, which won the main prize of the tournament - the Cup of the trade union committee of Enter Engineering. The second place went to the players of TK, and the third place went to СХК, representing the Samarkand Chemical Complex construction project.

The winners of the tournament received commemorative medals and a cup, as well as cash prizes. The winners in individual nominations were also determined. Thus, Timur Sadirov (Enternacionale) became the "Best Player", Abbos Abdullaev ("TK") became the "Best Scorer", and Suhrob Zainiev (СХК) was declared the "Best Goalkeeper).
