The active phase of works is continuing
Active work on reconstruction and modernisation of the Fergana Oil Refinery continues under the signed agreement between Enter Engineering and FNPP.
The purpose of the project is to equip the Fergana Refinery with new production facilities to ensure processing of hydrocarbon feedstock in the volume of 2 million tonnes per year and production of modern types of oil products.
The customer of the project is the Fergana Refinery, and the general contractor is Enter Engineering Pte. Ltd. The area of the facility is 475 hectares. More than 900 specialists and 148 units of construction and special equipment are involved in the works.
Recently, construction and installation works have been completed on the chemically treated water and water vapour production unit. The upgraded FNPP boiler plant is a modern high-tech facility equipped with equipment capable of producing medium and high pressure steam with a heat capacity of 225 tonnes per hour. The main suppliers were internationally recognised companies Macchi (Italy) and Technokhimreagent (Ukraine).
During the two quarters of the current year, a large volume of excavation, welding and construction and installation work was also performed on the project. These included preparation, reinforcement and concreting, backfilling of soil, backfilling of trenches - 14,000 m3; installation of reinforced concrete, metal structures and wells - 7,500 pcs. installation of sandwich panels and corrugated board, finishing of walls, floors and partitions, laying of reinforced walls - about 17,000 m2; installation of tanks - 1,170 tonnes; installation and hydro-testing of air ducts and HVAC equipment, water supply and sewerage systems, laying and welding of linear and process pipelines, installation of pipe supports and stop and control valves - more than 5,000 pieces.
In addition, the installation of IT equipment and devices, installation and laying of cables, cable trays, I&C devices (about 1500 metres) and fire alarm systems (more than 700 metres) were carried out.
After commissioning of the modernised FNPP, in addition to traditional products, the plant will be able to produce semi-synthetic/synthetic motor, hydraulic, gear and industrial oils meeting international requirements and quality standards.
