Motor transport under control: introduction of 1C: MVM
The Enter Engineering Group of Companies, which includes EMS, is a large organizational structure with the extensive fleet of automotive and special construction equipment. In the modern world, successful management of such volumes is impossible without the introduction of advanced automation and control systems.
In conditions of constant growth and complexity of tasks, innovations become a key element ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all processes. To this end, the 1C: Motor Vehicle Management (1C:MVM) system was developed and implemented, which allows optimizing the management of equipment and its repair. Vladimir Novolokov, the Head of System Analytics at the Enter Engineering Business Application Development Department, told about its implementation:
— The system was developed specifically for the needs of EMS, but is actively used on other Enter Engineering projects. Trial operation began in June 2022. Specialists have created a database on the repair of vehicles and the receipt of spare parts. The connection of the repair zones took place in stages, and at the moment there are already about ten of them throughout the Group of Companies. In April 2023, MOF-3 became the first site where this development was implemented. Currently, more than 2,000 pieces of equipment are assigned to the project, and its repair areas serve not only their own transport, but also cars from nearby construction sites. Such a scale requires daily monitoring, precise planning and operational interaction.
The 1C:MDM system allows you to keep full records of movements, repairs and operating hours of each unit of transport, as well as take into account equipment by location, organizations and owners. It includes various types of reports, both managerial and financial. The advantages of the system include monitoring machine downtime, simplifying the coordination of repair costs and spare parts, as well as an integrated schedule of preventive work, which helps to identify priority tasks.
— I work as the chief specialist of the EMS configuration department, —Sukhrob Turaev said. — Having mastered the functionality of the system, I appreciated its convenience and wide possibilities. Now we clearly understand what repairs we have planned and coordinate them much faster. Previously, the list of spare parts was collected once a day and submitted for signature, but now this process has become much faster. I participated in the implementation of the system on the ground and the training of employees, which we initially conducted independently. Now I have returned to my main duties, and the training functions have been transferred to the automation department.
The specialists see further development of the system in expanding its capabilities for planning the operation of equipment for projects. Currently, the database of the system covers about 89 objects of the Group of Companies.
