Epitome of power and reliability
The scale of Enter Engineering's projects is impressive, and the equipment involved in the implementation of production tasks also matches them. SHANTUI SD90 quarry bulldozer weighing 114 tons in full configuration looks like a real titan. There are only 10 such powerful machines in Central Asia, all of them are now on the balance sheet of EMS and are working on the MOF-3 project, where they arrived at the end of 2023.
The SHANTUI SD90 bulldozer is capable of moving up to 34 cubic meters of soil in one cycle and easily copes with the formation of terrain. Its record—breaking dimensions among other cars are impressive - 14.6 meters in length and almost 5 meters in height, and the engine power is 950 horsepower. The machine is equipped with a hydromechanical drive, which allows you to control the multi—ton giant with amazing ease thanks to two joysticks, one of which is responsible for controlling the undercarriage, the second for the working equipment. The dump, whose height exceeds human height, allows you to move large volumes of soil, which significantly accelerates the construction processes at the facility. A ripper mounted in the back helps to break up particularly hard rocks or large pieces of soil. The fuel tank, with a capacity of 1,700 liters of diesel fuel, provides a significant running life.
The special attention is paid to the safety and comfort of machine operators. The cabin has air conditioning, a monitor and even a radio. The bulldozer is equipped with two fire extinguishers and an automatic fire extinguishing system that is triggered when the engine overheats.
Three machine operators are assigned to one bulldozer, which work in shifts. Every 10 hours during the shift, the equipment is checked for the level of basic fuel and lubricants, and every 2150 hours the machine is sent to a special repair area for maintenance. During the six months of operation, there were no serious breakdowns, which indicates the reliability of the equipment.
Managing such a powerful and large machine requires special training. To obtain the appropriate certificate, machine operators undergo special training at the EMS training center, which includes 20 days of theory and 20 days of practice, followed by passing an exam. Before taking over the management of the SD90, a specialist must work for about a year on a "smaller caliber" bulldozer.
The SHANTUI SD90 on the MOF-3 project is not just a technique, but the embodiment of power, reliability and innovation that make it possible to implement the most ambitious Enter Engineering projects!
