ULTRATEC Department
More recently, the ULTRATEC department was created in Enter Engineering, which was previously the part of the structure of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The main task of the division is the manufacture of necessary spare parts and components for the needs of the company's projects.
The commissioning of new production facilities will ensure the localization of demanded products and accelerate the delivery time to customers, as well as significantly reduce the cost. Regardless of the size and functional purpose of the parts, whether it is a large part of the drilling rig or a small nut, the ULTRATEC team promptly executes orders, supporting the operation of machinery and equipment not only at the MOF-3 project, where the department's workshops are located, but also at all other projects of the company.
— The department has 240 people — technical engineering personnel and the representatives of working specialties (turners, welders, locksmiths), —Bakhriddin Turaev, the Head of the department said. — We can make any part from scratch. Speed is the key factor here: construction is going on around the clock, and any delay can have serious consequences.
The department's specialists have three workshops at their disposal: ball mills, foundry and mechanical. The latest equipment is installed here: CNC machines, 3D scanner, 3D printer, plasma cutter. This allows not only to produce complex parts with high precision, but also to restore existing ones, extending their service life.
— We work with modern equipment," Askar Aripov said, the department's foreman. — For example, the existing five-axis CNC milling machine is capable of manufacturing complex parts that need to be processed in several planes. Such a machine stamps up to 100 simple parts of the same type, such as flanges, per day, and programs for it are written by IT specialists of our department. But if "brute force" is needed, we have 38 machines designed for the manufacture of large products on which any type of machining can be performed: drilling, grinding, gear cutting, thread rolling. There is a machine that can perform six functions, with its help we repair engines or gearboxes from large machines. For heat treatment of metal, we use annealing furnaces that operate at temperatures up to 2000 degrees Celsius — this process increases the ductility and workability of the metal.
ULTRATEC works not only at the production level, but also at the development level.
— After the spare part has passed the defect identification, the designers start working, — Umid Bobokhonov, the Chief Designer of the Department, shared the features of the process. — They develop the appropriate documentation, select the metal according to GOST. We can also improve the design or select metal with more superior qualities, which increases the service life of the part. We also provide supervision during the manufacture of parts. And with the help of a 3D scanner and a 3D printer, mock-ups of parts for further production are quickly created.
Regardless of the complexity of the tasks, the staff of the ULTRATEC department is always ready to provide Enter Engineering with everything necessary for the successful completion of construction projects!
