Student practice is conducted
These two July weeks will be remembered for a long time by students of the Gubkin Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) in Tashkent. They were lucky enough to take part in a training practice organized by the HR Department of Enter Engineering on the basis of the Baisun Gas Processing Plant project.
This year, 43 2nd and 3rd year students studying in the field of "Oil and gas business", "Construction and repair of oil and gas pipelines and oil and gas storage facilities" and "Operation and maintenance of oil, gas and refined products transportation and storage facilities" were selected to pass it. Among the participants there are also 8 target students who, after graduation, will immediately come to work at Enter Engineering.
"The annual training practice is carried out within the framework of the agreement between Enter Engineering and the university for joint training. I want to say right away that the guys will have an extensive program for two weeks. Theoretical and practical classes will be held daily with them with the best local staff, as well as specialists who will specially come from Tashkent to perform. The guys will learn about how the BGPP is being built, what equipment will be installed here and what technologies have been introduced. The young men will also get acquainted with the activities of various departments of the company and their role in the implementation of the project. In addition, they will be able to master two working professions — a welder and a slinger," Ulugbek Baisov, the Head of the HR Department's Recruitment and Training Department said.
During the few days spent on the project, the young people have already passed all the necessary safety instructions and rules of conduct at the facility, got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the BGPP, inspected the construction site, listened to lectures and presentations from specialists from HSE departments, KiOK, DUSiS, Directorates for Mechanization and Construction. In a separate block, which we will discuss in more detail in the next article, it is planned to study the activities of the HR department of the company. The students will consider how the training, development and adaptation of personnel is carried out, which management, accounting and monitoring technologies have been implemented, as well as the basics of personnel administration.
"I came here for the second time and was surprised to see how far the work on the construction of the complex has progressed — it has already acquired clear outlines of the future industrial giant. As a target student, I consider this trip as a great chance to adapt to future work in the company, to learn "from the inside" what it is like to build such huge complexes and how great the role of each employee working here is. I am grateful to the organizer for creating excellent conditions and the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and practical skills," Samir Zakiyev said, the 3rd year student in the field of Construction and repair of oil and gas pipelines and oil and gas storage facilities.
We wish all the guys to successfully complete their internship, complete their studies and become employees of Enter Engineering!
