SСС: significant part of the work has been done

Currently, intensive work is underway on the construction of the Samarkand Chemical Complex (SCC) for the production of mineral fertilizers.

The customer of the project is “Samarkandkimyo” JSC, the general contractor is Enter Engineering, the design is carried out by UzLITI Engineering specialists. The facility is located on the territory of the Pastdargom district of the Samarkand region and has a total area of 47 hectares. Currently, the total number of technical engineering personnel and working staff is 1,700 people, 110 pieces of equipment are involved.

At the moment, the significant part of the planned tasks has been implemented — earthworks are at the final stage, concrete works have been completed by 75%, installation of equipment — by 25%. For example, the wastewater treatment plant site has been fully completed, block equipment has also been supplied to 100%, and the installation of metal structures has been completed — by 63%. Concrete works have been completed at the sulfuric acid production plant, metal structures have been installed by more than 60%, work on the installation of capacitive equipment has been completed by 71%, auxiliary installations have also been supplied (78%).

A thermal power plant is being built at the accelerated pace. According to current data, earthworks have been completed — 100%, concrete works — 87%, installation of metal structures — about 50%, supply of equipment — 65%.

During the implementation of the project, the old buildings of the plant were completely reconstructed, new, modern structures were additionally built to serve its effective activities.

After completion of construction and commissioning of the complex, 800 thousand tons \ g of sulfuric acid, 280 thousand tons \ g of phosphoric acid, 540 thousand tons \ g of NPK, 370 thousand tons \g of phosphate (MAP), as well as granular monoammonium will be produced here.
