Pioneers of Mining Equipment

Back in the day, when the construction of the copper enrichment plant (MOF-3) for AGMK was just beginning, the builders at Enter Engineering faced a challenging problem — the 25-ton dump trucks at their disposal were not up to the task of removing soil and large rock debris in mountainous terrain. A different type of equipment, more suitable and with higher load capacity, was needed.

Ultimately, the decision was made to acquire new specialized mining dump trucks. However, at that time, the company had no prior experience operating such machines, nor did it have specialists who knew how to handle them. But as the saying goes, the path is made by walking — soon, the first four wide-body SANY SKT105S dump trucks arrived at the construction site.

"I was fortunate, along with my colleagues Timur Eshnazarov, Akhmad Baltayev, and Farhad Yuldashev, to take part in the initial testing of these mining dump trucks. Management tasked us with conducting field trials and evaluating their efficiency under MOF-3 conditions. Naturally, we started by studying their technical specifications and factory settings. Then we moved on to work at the construction site. At every stage, we were accompanied by representatives from the manufacturer, who recorded the progress of the trials and noted any issues. In the end, we successfully completed all tasks — the machines performed excellently, were approved for use, and began to be purchased in the required quantities. So, we became pioneers of mining equipment at Enter Engineering," said Alisher Abduvohidov, an EMS driver.

But, as we know, machines are operated by people. The next task was to train qualified personnel for the SANY SKT105S dump trucks and later for the SANY SET150S (with a 150-ton load capacity).

"Special training programs were developed for drivers, taking into account all the nuances of operating these machines in mountainous terrain. In addition, we instilled a culture of driving and taught techniques for handling emergency situations. To develop practical skills, a special training ground was constructed, where drivers practiced navigating steep slopes, maneuvering on the construction site, and procedures for loading and unloading," noted Alisher Abduvohidov.

It’s worth mentioning that the heroes of our story are highly experienced specialists of the highest caliber, who have been working with EMS since the company’s inception and are still active and in good health today. True pioneers, they paved the way for a new type of construction equipment, which is now widely used not only at MOF-3 but also at other Enter Engineering projects.

We wish them continued success and great spirits!
